Bummer. Landed at BRR, thought I'd see the Blue Moon. Too many clouds.
Heading out to Broken Road Ranch.

See what our disk did? It's like powder now.

Then last fall we sold our horses. We sold one and bartered with the other two for some dozer work. We took the horse feeder and set it out for the deer. We positioned it so we can watch it from the house.

Fingers crossed. Might have planted to early, but Crockett was eager.
Crockett then went over it with his Drag Harrow.

I planted oats (love the look of this seed), radish, clover, brasilica and turnip with a spreader that attaches to my 4 wheeler (mucho easier).

This weekend Crockett and I got the food plots ready. Not fun in a heat index over 100. Crockett bought a nifty little tiller for his tractor.

I'm back! Getting ready for deer season but before I get to that let me again congratulate Dee for 2012 trivia winner. Dee your prize is on the way!
