Going to Build a Shed

We need to have some kind of cover for the horses. The corral is being built as we speak. Should be done by time we get there. Can't wait to see it. Check it out this weekend.

You're Not Going to Believe This

I am home now. Crockett at first was upset with me. We were cleaning out the cabin to go home. He left the door wide open with stuff on the porch. So I closed the door. Didn't want any Black Widows getting in(we have a kazillion of them). Seconds later Crockett yells, "You closed the door?" I said, "Yes, you were done." He told me he left the cabin house keys on the table, along with his phone! Ahhh!!! He needs it for work. He has an important call tomorrow. I didn't know. He wasn't mad for long, but I feel terrible that he has to go all the way back there on Tuesday. What a way to end the weekend.

Question of the Day

My question is...my horse has had his AKA name for twelve years. Keep it as Lincoln, or do you think it is okay if I chose another name?

Since it's Father's Day, I thought I'd give you a glimpse o Crockett.

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to my Crockett, who is the most amazing dad I know. Started off the day with morning coffee on the porch, then a ride on the four-wheelers around the property. Then onto the lake with our canoes, where Crockett caught two Bass. We almost lost Buster in the lake while he chased us in our canoes. I'm telling you he almost drowned, as he was trying to get into my canoe. I held onto his neck, but couldn't look. Lily enjoyed the ride, while watching her brother almost drown. On our way home to meet with the kiddos for Crockett's new ping pong table! Happy Father's Day to all you dads.

...sit doing a puzzle.

A stop early Friday to visit with Lincoln.

Crockett Pulled Me In

Well, he did it. Got my two kids on the band wagon on how much they wanted a horse. Two male horses on hold for three weeks until we get set-up on Broken Road. Mine is a Palamino, beautiful twelve year old. Yes, I was drawn in. We'll meet him this weekend. Will post pictures of my baby when I see him. Of course Crockett had to take a half-a-day to run up there and pay them to hold them. I told him if I don't click with Link then I'm not on board. Link? Short for Lincoln. Not sure I like it, but he has had it for so long, feel bad to change it.
