    Well here are some doves/pigeons that are illegal to shoot in Texas...


    Patagonias flavirostris or Red-billed pigeon
    Columba fasciata or Band-tailed pigeon
    Scardafella inca or Inca dove
    Columbina passerina or Common ground dove
    Columbina tapacoti or ruddy ground dove
    Geotrygon montana or Ruddy quail dove
