This is not your average hunting blog. It is mostly a weekend blog, done during hunting season. It's literally done in a deer stand with my cell phone. Keeps me busy while I wait. During the off season, my comments are about our ranch, Broken Road. Some weekends we never make it.

I have seven kids, two of my own and Crockett (real name, Dave) has five.
I started hunting in 2009, and never realized I'm competitive.
My other passion is writing. So I thought, why not put these two loves together, and so this blog was born. Enjoy!
