No ranch this weekend. Rain, rain and more rain. Crockett's going on a once in a lifetime hunt in Zepher, Texas for three days. I'm hoping he sends us some iphone pictures.

I'm sorry to my blogger followers. We had a tragic loss at Broken Road and I feel like before I close my eyes I must honor my favorite pup, Lily. I found her on the porch breathing deeply on her side with her eyes open. Crockett did everything he could, even administering CPR. She passed quietly at around 3 p.m and I am devastated to say the least. She was a 4 lb. joy and loved only me. Always by my side. Greeting me with excitement. She would've been 5 next Saturday. I couldn't shut my eyes until I honored her. I miss her deeply and extremely saddened by our loss.

Check out 9/13/12 cam pics. Food plot 2 was the heaviest in deer sightings from 9/2-9/3. Great looking bucks.

Unsure of the purpose of these creatures. They fly around tail to tail together.  Seems like a long drawn out love affair.

Boys stayed out in the blind until 2 a.m. Boys came up with nothing.
